Jordan Bridge Run & Walk

Run Walk logoThe unique and popular Jordan Bridge Run & Walk event is an annual family outing that opens up the roadway to runners, walkers, strollers and more. Registered race participants are timed on their trek across the SNJB's challenging route, while community guests can enjoy the panoramic views at their leisure. Held each October, the event is free and open to the public, but only registered participants are eligible for prizes and the post-race party. Prizes include custom medals to the top three male and female finishers in 15 age categories in addition to the inaugural "King of the Mountain" title for the male and female with the fastest split to the top.

Many athletes take advantage of "test driving" the course in advance on the bridge's free Pedestrian Walkway, open during daylight hours. The bridge is closed to all vehicle traffic during race hours on the day of the event.
